The GroovaLottos are a multi-Grammy nominated soul-funk jam band, and musical production team created by veteran touring and studio session players and singers. Starting as a series of weekly jam sessions, the group quickly rose as a favorite at bars, clubs, events, and festivals throughout New England and the east coast. A pioneering force in the Thump & Soul sound, The GroovaLottos made their debut on the Americana/ Indie Blues charts with the single “Do You Mind…?” at number 11, and proceeded to spend the next 41 weeks in the top ten, peeking at number 3.
The 2017 release of their album, “Ask Yo’ Mama” (Midnight Groove Recordings/Liberation M3), and an innovative street-corner concert tour, made them a favorite on jam band oriented radio shows throughout the USA, leading to the album moving several thousand units and receiving 4 Grammy nominations for Pop and R&B that year, as well as 2 additional nominations in R&B and Rock for the following year.
