THE DELTA GENERATORS

Winning awards and playing to sold out shows across New England and across the country, the Boston based Delta Generators have made a name for themselves since hitting the scene in 2008.  Their music brings together their diverse musical influences, drawing on the traditions of Blues, Roots, R&B, Americana and Rock to create a sound uniquely their own.

The band is comprised of front man, Brian Templeton (formerly of the Radio Kings as well as collaborations with such notables as Jerry Portnoy, James Cotton and Otis Grand Kings, on vox, harp and acoustic guitar).  Brian is also the singer for the blues all-star band, The Proven Ones with Kid Ramos, Willie J. Campbell, Jimi Bott and Anthony Geraci.  Brothers, Charlie O’Neal (guitar) and Rick O’Neal (bass) got their first break in their late teens to early twenties touring and recording for Ben Orr (formerly of The Cars).  Rick also recorded and toured playing for guitarist Johnny A. for many years.  Charlie also played for the band Must (Wind-Up/BMG) who had a top 10 song in the Billboard Rock Charts, toured with such acts as Aerosmith, Stone Temple Pilots, INXS and performed at venues from the Hollywood Bowl, MGM Grand Arena to the London Hammersmith Apollo.  Jeff Armstrong (drums) and Charlie O’Neal also currently plays for Anthony Geraci and the Boston Blues All-Stars.  Together the Delta Generators have blended the best of their best to bring their fans an unforgettable musical experience.

Since their inception in 2008 The Delta Generators have won awards, nominations and accolades across the country.  In 2008 they won the Boston Blues Society Challenge and in 2009 were a top 10 finalists in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN.  They have been nominated for the Boston Music Awards, IBC (best self-produced album) and New England Music Awards (Best Blues Band).  Their first album, Devil In the Rhythm, won the Vox Populi category at the Independent Music Awards, and Worcester Magazine named them Best Blues Band.  They have also shared the stage with a host of Blues legends including Robert Cray, Jimmie Vaughn, Walter Trout, Sonny Landreth, John Lee Hooker Jr, Johnny Winter, Three Dog Night and many more.

The DGs have also had their music placed in TV and film, including their song Way Down as the theme song to the Netflix series Yankee and many more songs placed in the United States and all around the world.

Why is there a difference in price for available seats at The Music Room?

All seating at The Music Room is acquired with a first come, first served basis approach.  The Music Room provides all patrons with a live musical experience above and beyond your average concert hall, and supporting this vision are the 4 tiers of available seats at The Music Room.  With a nod to classic record sales certification, the 4 tiers are:  Diamond, Double Platinum, Platinum, and Gold.  Seats range in price based on several factors including artist availability and distance to the stage.

Do you have the same number of seats for each tier?

No.  The Diamond tier of seats only has 12 seats available.  These seats are 4 top rounds located right at the foot of the stage.  You cannot get any closer to the artist than these 12 seats.  These are considered premium seats and are usually purchased by the most ardent fans.

The Double Platinum sections features 4 top square tables and one special 2 top rectangle, and there are 14 seats available.  Still very close to the stage, these seats provide an exceptional view and personal experience.  Table no. 7 is a 2 top rectangle that sits just to the right of the stage and back approximately 6 feet.  It is an extremely popular table.

The Platinum section of seats has a mixture of 4 top squares, two 3 high top rounds, and 9 drink rail seats that are bar height.  The total number of seats in the Platinum section is 37.  These are all excellent seats and reside in the main room.  Depending on a viewer’s personal taste, a table, a high top, or a drink rail might be the right choice, but they are all fabulous and unobstructed.

Gold seating is available in the bar area and can be considered first come, first serve general admission.  Most of the seats are unobstructed but depending how patrons sit at the bar or high tops, there might be a slight obstruction.   Standing room is permitted in the Gold section. The sound is excellent and most Gold level tickets are purchased by patrons that want to be near the bar specifically or by patrons wanting to be further away from the stage by design.  Please refer to our pictures to determine if this area is what you are looking for.  There are 24 Gold seats available and or Standing Room.
