KINGS OF COMEDY HOSTED BY JOHNNY PIZZI . LENNY CLARKE WSG JASON MERRILL
The Music Room is bringing you a legendary night of comedy featuring the hilarious Lenny Clarke, and Jason Merrill with host, Johnny Pizzi together on one stage for one night!
LENNY CLARKE needs no introduction, he has appeared in more than 50 movies and television sitcoms. He is best known as uncle Teddy in Rescue Me with Denis Leary and has had roles in Fever Pitch, Ghostbusters and SMILF. Lenny was the most famous “saloon comic” in Boston during the 1980s, the heyday of the Boston comedy scene. The DVD release When Standup Stood Out (2006) details Clarke’s early career and affiliations with other famous Boston comics, such as Steven Wright and Denis Leary, his good friends. In 1980, Clarke wrote and starred in a local television show Lenny Clarke’s Late Show featuring Wright and Leary, in collaboration with Boston comedy writer Martin Olson. Clarke and Olson were roommates, and their apartment, known by comedians as “The Barracks”, was a notorious “crash pad” for comics visiting Boston, per the film.
Clarke starred in his own short-lived network sitcom Lenny (1990), and in such TV shows as Contest Searchlight, The Job, The John Larroquette Show and It’s All Relative and movies like Monument Ave., Fever Pitch and Southie. From 2004 to 2011, Clarke appeared in the recurring role of Uncle Teddy on the FX comedy drama Rescue Me. Now, more than 50 films later and having traveled the world over with his comedy, his latest film-release with a supporting role, last years’ Halloween Kills was a “monster” smash-hit and the newest film in the franchise with Jamie Lee Curtis.
JASON MERRILL had always dreamed of making it in comedy. He found that whenever he was having a rough day, making people laugh always put a smile back on his face. With the support of his wife and daughters, Jason decided to pursue his ultimate goal. Starting with open mics in 2018, he soon began to feature at comedy clubs around the New England area. You may recognize him from Giggle’s Comedy Club, Lots of Laughs Comedy Lounge, Headliner’s Comedy Club, and Nick’s Comedy Stop. It wasn’t long until he started working with some other comics in the area, such as Lenny Clarke, Steve Sweeney, Tony V, Christine Hurley, and many more!
JOHNNY PIZZI has been doing comedy over 30 years. He has been a fixture not only on the Boston Comedy Scene but all over New England and East Coast as well. He’s also the unofficial Magician of The New England Patriots. Johnny has the keen ability to tailor his comedy to ANY type of crowd.

With a nod to classic record sales certification, the 4 tiers are: Diamond, Double Platinum, Platinum, and Gold. Do you have the same number of seats for each tier?
No. The Diamond tier of seats only has 12 seats available. These seats are 4 top rounds located right at the foot of the stage. You cannot get any closer to the artist than these 12 seats. These are considered premium seats and are usually purchased by the most ardent fans.
The Double Platinum sections features 4 top square tables and one special 2 top rectangle, and there are 14 seats available. Still very close to the stage, these seats provide an exceptional view and personal experience. Table no. 7 is a 2 top rectangle that sits just to the right of the stage and back approximately 6 feet. It is an extremely popular table.
The Platinum section of seats has a mixture of 4 top squares, two 3 high top rounds, and 9 drink rail seats that are bar height. The total number of seats in the Platinum section is 37. These are all excellent seats and reside in the main room. Depending on a viewer’s personal taste, a table, a high top, or a drink rail might be the right choice, but they are all fabulous and unobstructed.
Gold seating is available in the bar area and can be considered first come, first serve general admission. Most of the seats are unobstructed but depending how patrons sit at the bar or high tops, there might be a slight obstruction. Standing room is permitted in the Gold section. The sound is excellent and most Gold level tickets are purchased by patrons that want to be near the bar specifically or by patrons wanting to be further away from the stage by design. Please refer to our pictures to determine if this area is what you are looking for. There are only several seats available and mostly Standing Room.
PLEASE READ OUR SEATING CHART EXPLANATION. GOLD TICKETS OR GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS (GA) HAVE LIMITED SEATING (FIRST-COME, FIRST SERVE IN THE BAR AREA) WITH THE REMAINDER STANDING ROOM ONLY.
