Alan Arena is a singer, songwriter, guitarist & showman of the highest caliber whose calling is to make a difference in the world with his own music. His songs are filled with imagery, thought-provoking lyrics, and catchy rhythmic progressions. Alan’s deep, resonant voice is nothing short of captivating.
Alan has been writing songs since 1978. At seventeen, he didn’t even know his first song “Doing 110 at 3AM” was influenced by Chuck Berry or the blues. His journey into the blues music went even deeper when he found out that an Eric Clapton’s recording “Crossroads” was actually written by Robert Johnson many years before. At that time Alan decided to dive even deeper into the study of American blues music.
Alan has released two studio albums – “Where’s the Rainbow” – Limelight Top 10 Solo Artist Of The Decade (2016) and “Fortune Wheel” – Blues Magazine Top 10 (2021). In addition, throughout the fall of 2022, 2023 and early 2024, Grammy-winner Paul Nelson and Alan worked closely together in the studio on Alan’s new album, “Deceived” (to-be-released in January 2025 and produced by Paul Nelson)!
