“DJ FOFAO USA” formerly known in Rio de Janeiro as Dj Robson Sheik (Dj Fofao USA) started his funk career early at just 11 years old. It was in Belford Roxo, Rio De Janeiro, where he began performing at events as a Dj playing at socials and parties so he could showcase his talent and with that have the opportunity to perform in “Bailes de Comunidade” like Vila Rica, Roseiral and in the Bacia. Soon after, Robson Sheik became Dj and Producer of the group Bonde dos Devassos where they had the opportunity to do several shows. After some time out of the funk world, Dj Robson Sheik moved to Boston and in 2018 he came out in full force and stood out to build a name in the United States, being the first DJ to release productions and original songs by Funk Mandelão in the US. Dj Fofao USA stands out in the funk world with his remarkable “E O DJ FOFAO, SÓ MANDELÃO” in the voice of MC Marofa and as “O Gringo do Mandelão” and “O queridinho de Everett”.
