Deraps is a hard-rock duo delivering a powerful late-’70s–inspired sound, led by Jacob Deraps (lead guitar, lead vocals) and Josh Gallagher (drums, backing vocals). Jacob hails from St-Georges, Québec, Canada, while Josh was born in Perth, Australia.
The two connected online through their Van Halen cover videos on YouTube, quickly gaining attention for their uncanny ability to capture the tone, energy, and spirit of early Van Halen. Their performances earned multiple features on the Official Van Halen News Desk and helped establish Deraps as a rising force in modern classic rock.
Jacob later signed a record deal with Metalville Records and a publishing deal with Anthem Entertainment, home to the legendary band Rush. On June 17, 2022, Deraps released their self-produced debut album worldwide on vinyl, CD, and digital platforms. The album received widespread critical acclaim from respected outlets including Classic Rock Magazine (UK), Burrn! (Japan), Screamer Magazine (USA), and The Van Halen News Desk, among many others.
Deraps was voted “Best New Band of 2022” by readers of Burrn! magazine (Japan), and their track “My Side of Town” was featured in Classic Rock Magazine’s “Ultimate Playlist of 2022.”
In January 2023, the band toured Québec as the opening act for Sword. That summer, Deraps performed at major stages including Festival d’Été de Québec alongside Tom Cochrane and Ann Wilson, opened for Loverboy and Foreigner at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage, and appeared at Ontario’s Sound of Music Festival with Lee Aaron. They also completed their first UK and European tour, highlighted by an opening slot for Blue Öyster Cult at the Stonedead Festival in the UK—further cementing their reputation as one of hard rock’s most exciting new acts.

All ticket sales are final. The Music Room enforces a strict no-refund policy.
In the event that a performance is postponed or rescheduled, the ticket shall remain valid for the same artist, same seating location, and original purchase price on the rescheduled date. The Music Room will make commercially reasonable efforts to accommodate the ticket holder under comparable or better conditions, subject to availability.
In the event a performance is canceled and not rescheduled, the ticket holder shall be issued a credit applicable toward any future performance or event at The Music Room, subject to availability.
Attendance at any event is voluntary and undertaken at the ticket holder’s own risk. By entering the premises, the ticket holder assumes all risks, hazards, and conditions incidental to the event.
All event details, including but not limited to artists, performance times, and program content, are subject to change without notice.
No physical ticket is required for entry. All ticket holders are listed on the attendee roster and will be seated by the host or hostess. Valid government-issued photo identification is required for admission.
