BRAD DUBAY BAND WSG OPENERS ALAN ARENA & VOLUME CONTROL

Brad Dubay is rapidly establishing himself as a powerful new voice in modern blues rock — a guitarist, songwriter, and bandleader delivering music the way it was meant to be heard: raw, soulful, and fully alive.

Backed by a band of exceptional musicians, Dubay’s sound is anchored by Max Chase, a true Hammond organ master whose playing moves effortlessly from subtle soul to roaring intensity, adding depth, texture, and emotion to every song.  Caleb Dyer’s warm, melodic basslines provide the heartbeat of the music, grounding each track with groove, feel, and precision.  On drums, Mike Walsh brings both fire and finesse, driving the band from tight shuffles to thunderous crescendos while always serving the song.

Dubay’s debut double album, Planet 9, showcases him at his creative peak.  Recorded at Mystic Valley Studio and mixed and mastered at Welcome To 1979 in Nashville, the album was produced through a true full-analog process, with no digital manipulation.  From vintage plate and spring reverb to pedal-free guitar tones, Planet 9 captures a sound that is organic, dynamic, and unmistakably real.  “Going full analog brings out a unique and special sound,” says Dubay — and you can feel it in every note.

Featuring twelve original blues-rock compositions, Planet 9 moves effortlessly between soaring instrumentals, classic blues, soulful ballads, and driving rockers.  The album reflects Dubay’s deep respect for tradition while pushing forward with fresh songwriting, modern energy, and a live-first philosophy that rejects auto-tune, backing tracks, and digital enhancements in favor of true musicianship.

Brad Dubay’s music bridges generations — captivating new listeners while resonating deeply with those who remember what rock and blues once felt like, and still should.
